Trotec Speedy 100 laser cutter
De Trotec Speedy 100 is een lasersnijder met een werkblad-bereik van 605x305 mm. Onze machine is uitgerust met een 45 Watt laser.
Hij kan o.a. de volgende materialen aan:
graveren in glas, leer, kurk, hout, acrylaat, plastics en metalen.
snijden: van karton, acrylaat tot ong 10mm, populierentriplex (timmerplaat) tot 6mm en vele andere materialen.
Bij deze machine hebben wij een afzuiginstallatie, waardoor de machine probleemloos gebruikt kan worden in elke ruimte. De machines zijn wel erg zwaar, dus voor workshops is het belangrijk dat de machines vanuit de auto direct naar de workshop-ruimte gerold kunnen worden (of met een lift naar de juiste etage gebracht kunnen worden).
Trotec Lasersnijden vanuit Illustrator
Illustrator tekening
Sla de tekening op als een RGB profiel, ipv een CMYK profiel. File, Kleurmodus op RGB.
Lijnkleur RGB rood of RGB blauw is snijden/markeren. RGB zwarte vlakken is graveren.
Lijndikte 0,1mm.
Zet alle lasersnij of -graveer objecten in één art-board van max 600x300mm in één laag.
Instellen van de machine
Focus laser: Leg het materiaal op de honingraad tegen linker bovenhoek. Laat de laser auto-focussen door de meest rechtse ▲▼ tegelijk in te drukken. Fijn afstellen van de focus door de afstandhouder aan de laser te hangen en met de meest rechtse ▲▼ toetsen de afstandhouder tot precies op het materiaal te brengen.
Breng met de 4 pijltjes toetsen ◄▲▼► fr rode stip van de laser naar de plek boven het materiaal vanaf waar het snijden moet beginnen.
Laat de klep van de machine OPEN! Zet de afzuiging AAN. (Schakelaar op de muur).
Snijden vanuit Illustrator
Bestand, Afdrukken, Mediaformaat:
- Richting: □ Automatisch roteren (UIT), Portrait
- Opties: - Plaatsing X=0, Y=0, □ Niet schalen
- Instellen: - zo kom je in de Trotec software.
Trotec software instellen: Preferences:
- materiaal en soort materiaal kiezen - Kopieer de afmetingen (breedte en hoogte) van het artboard of selectie (Info window CTRL F8) in de Trotec software (naar boven afgerond + 1mm!).
- OK - PRINT
Terug in Illustrator: Afdrukken
Trotec software instellen
Werkveld en Job list: met BACKSPACE zet je een opdracht in de JOB LIST. Met dubbel klik zet je een opdracht van de JOB LIST in het werkveld. Een bestand moet eerst in de JOB LIST staan voor het lasersnijden, anders verdwijnt het in de prullenbak.
Sleep de tekening met de linker bovenhoek in het paskruis (rode stip in de machine).
Check altijd je tekening met View, WYSIWYG. Rood/blauw is snijden, zwart is graveren.
Trotec software instellen: Settings, Material template settings, eventueel kun je het vermogen, de snelheid en de PPI aanpassen. Zwart is altijd ENGRAVE, rood en blauw altijd CUT. Door hier op te klikken kun je de kleuren uitschakelen op SKIP.
Opdracht opnieuw uitvoeren: Ctrl+A Ctrl+R, om de opdracht opnieuw te activeren
Blijf erbij zolang de machine aan 't werk is!
Trotec Laser cut from Illustrator

Save drawing as an RGB profile, instead of a CMYK profile. File, Color Mode must RGB.
Line color RGB red or blue RGB for cutting or marking. RGB black areas for engraving.
Line width 0.1mm.
Put all objects to laser cut or engrave in one art-board of max. 600x300mm in one layer.
Setting the machine
Focus laser: Lay the material on the honeycomb to the upper left corner. Let the laser auto-focus by the most right ▲ ▼ buttons simultaneously. Fine focusing need to be done by hanging the distance holder from the lens and bring up the plate with the most right ▲ ▼ keys, till spacer fits exactly between lens and material.
Use the 4 arrow keys ◄ ▲ ▼ ► to position the red pointer to the spot from which the laser is to start.
Leave the cover of the machine OPEN! Put the exhaust ON. (Switch on the wall).
Cutting from Illustrator
File, Print, Media Format:
Direction: □ Auto Rotate (OFF), Portrait
Options: - Placement X = 0, Y = 0, □ Not scales
Setting (Instellen): - brings you into the Trotec software.
Trotec setup software: Preferences:
- Choose material and type of material
- Copy the size (width and hight) of the artboard or selection (Info window CTRL F8) into the Trotec software (rounded up + 1mm!).
- OK - PRINT
Back in Illustrator: Print
Trotec software settings
Workspace and Job list: with BACKSPACE you can put a file back in the JOB LIST. With double click you put a drawing from the JOB LIST into the workspace. A file should be in the JOB LIST first before lasercutting, otherwise it ends up in the recycle bin.
Drag the drawing with the left corner into the crosshair (corresponding to the red pointer). Always check your drawing with View, WYSIWYG. Red/blue is cutting, black engraving.
Set Trotec software settings: Settings, Material template settings, if necessary, adjust the power, speed and PPI. Black is always ENGRAVE, red and blue always CUT. By clicking you can turn the colors SKIP.
Redo command: Ctrl+A Ctrl+R, for cutting/engraving the same file again.
Stay with the machine as long as it is at work !
